Madras 0 - Dundee Uni II 2

With no game last week and training in Thursday's downpours,  it had not been ideal preparation for this weeks match.

After 3 games, Madras were still looking for their first win of the season.

Madras started positively and piled on the pressure during the first 10 minutes.  Kirsty, Rosie and Jade all pressed the Uni's goal with no success.

During the rest of the second half it was end to end with the University starting to see more of the ball in the Madras 25.  Some good saves from Lesley kept the score at 0-0.

The University were rewarded with a couple of short corners.  Their 3rd attempt was well worked and saw the ball hit the goal.

Half time 0-1

The second half was end to end stuff.  The University gave Madras little time on the ball and were very effective at cutting out the long passes.  When Madras worked close together with short quick passes, they were able to effectively go forward and again piled on some pressure but to no avail.

The University scored a second goal to win the game 0-2.

So Madras still look for their first win of the season and will look to learn their lessons from this game before facing the University again in their next league match in 2 weeks time.
